Milestones:

  • 1998 - Founded/registered with State of Texas as a sole proprietorship (veteran owned and family operated).

  • 1998-2007 - Bussey's Flea Market, 12 miles north of I-35 north and I-1604 in San Antonio.  Sales fluctuated between $300.00 to $900.00 a month; $3,800 annually for 8 days a month (weekends only)).

  • 2008, August - Closed Bussey's Flea Market outlet due to declining sales, economy, and increased costs.

  • 2008, September to December - Received Vendor Contract with AAFES (Armed Forces Exchange System) Dallas for Randolph Air Force Base.

  • 2009 - With an economy hurting from the financial industry collapse, we shuttered our sales and bided our time.

  • 2010 - Received another contract with AAFES Dallas for Randolph Air Force Base. Sales from January 1, 2010 through December 31, 2010 rose from $800.00 a month (usually 2 weeks a month) to approximately $1,200.00 a month (2-3 weeks a month; including internet sales via our website:  www.misticshores.com).   Our Fourth of July week netted us $1,900.00 in sales; quite a week.  We closed 2010 with nearly $10,000 in annual sales.

  • 2011 - Opened a second kiosk location at Fort Sam Houston AAFES Exchange.  Alternating between Fort Sam Houston and Randolph AFB, our 2011 sales will close out totalling $18,000.  That includes over $4,000 in sales from our new and revamped website courtesy of Intuit.com.

Military Units.  As a veteran, we stand ready to continue serving our military personnel.  Does your unit have a dragon, knight, gargoyle, skeletal, or other logo, nose art?  We might be able to help in procuring bulk quantity figurines for your personnel.  We also have patriotic products which are wonderfully designed and would be great for your hail and farewells, retirements, transitions, or just to say, "We appreciate your service".  Browse through the categories and see if there is something we may help you with.

If you are interested, our only requirement is $45.00 for the catalogs and a first-time minimum purchase of $150.00.  While we do not guarantee you will become rich and famous, as so many do on television and in advertisements, we will tell you that for every $100 in products purchased, dedicated marketing, you can realize at least $300.00 in sales; all dependent upon YOU!!!  Can you devote time to make contacts, sell products, and have a great customer service repoire?  Maybe this is for you.
